Tokidoki (the Japanese word for "sometimes") is a Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand created in 2005 by Italian artist Simone Legno and his business partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold.
Tokidoki has collaborated with several industries such as Levi's, Skull Candy, New Era, Mikasa, Fujitsu, Hello Kitty, Smashbox, Barbie, and lots more. Cute, bright, fun! The Tokidoki (spelled with a lower-case "t", even though the word is a proper noun) brand has amassed a cult-like following for its larger than life characters and emerged as a sought-after global lifestyle brand. Tokidoki offers an extensive range of products which include apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories, toys, and so much more! Simone Legno, Tokidoki's creative director, was born in Rome, and from a very early age developed a deep love of Japan and a fascination with global cultures.
As an innovative company, Tokidoki is known not only for its eye-popping vivid aesthetic and criminally cute characters, but also its megawatt partnerships. Take a browse of all the colourful and silly happy characters! Living in a sunshiny world of rainbows, flowers, and smiles. The Cactus Friends are the most popular of the Tokidoki incarnations, and started with a character called SANDy who perceives the world as a cold and cruel place, so she outfits herself in a prickly cactus costume for protection. The cactus is a sign of protection - kids are vulnerable and need protection. The cactus is the conserver of water, and water means life: the Cactus Friends are a representation of life, of being fragile and strong at the same time, and pure like water.
SANDy's friends include Sabochan, Cactus Rocker, DUSTy, Bastardino, Polpettina, Rocketeer, Carina, Bruttino, Porcino, Truffle, Malandrino, Timidina, Salamino, Tortellino, and Riposino. They are all just so adorable we can't stand it!
Beserk carries a huge range of Tokidoki merchandise for you to collect and play with, including Mermicorno plushes and key chains, collectables, Donutella and Her Sweet Friends, and Unicorno.
