CARE BEARS

Care Bears are multi-colored bears, originally created by artist Elena Kucharik 1981, to be used on greeting cards but in 1983, the characters were turned into plush teddy bears and became a hit having sold around 40 million Care Bears Plushies in 3 years!

Due to the massive following Care Bears gained the characters headlined their own television series called Care Bears from 1985 to 1988 and also made three feature films! Each Care Bear is different and this is one of the reasons they are very popular as the shows have covered various topics on differences between people/bears and how it's okay that you're unique and how being you is the best you can do! Which is an awesome message!
