We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence!

About the Role

The GM is responsible for driving operational excellence, efficiency and profitability across all areas of our long-standing alternative online retail business. You'll lead a passionate team and work closely with the Director to shape the future of Beserk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures
• Oversee operations including supply chain, logistics, and quality control
• Monitor KPIs to assess operational efficiency and identify improvements
• Provide strong leadership — recruit, train, mentor and develop the team
• Collaborate with executives on strategic planning
• Manage operational budget and control expenses
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Drive innovation through emerging technologies (including AI)
• Champion a customer-centric approach across all operations

E-Commerce Leadership:

• Oversee digital marketing, SEO/SEM strategies and social media
• Manage our Shopify platform and optimise the customer experience
• Analyse data to drive business decisions and boost performance
• Coordinate inventory management and forecasting
• Lead omni-channel retailing initiatives

You Should Have:

• Proven track record in operations leadership (retail/e-commerce preferred)
• Technical proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience driving change and implementing process improvements
• Strong background in staff performance management and HR
• Data analytics skills — comfortable with KPIs and performance metrics
• Strategic thinking with strong business acumen

We are looking for a Social Media / Design Assistant to join our team!

📍 Location: Virginia, Brisbane QLD
🕐 Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm, 3 days a week (to start)
📋 Type: Permanent, Part-Time (Opportunity to grow into Full-Time for the right candidate)

About the Role

This is a hybrid position split between social media and graphic design duties within our Marketing Team. You'll help our senior graphic design & social media team create marketing assets, photo & video content - while also assisting with social media copywriting and scheduling.

You'll be:

• Assisting with copy-writing and scheduling for social media (across various channels)
• Helping to manage our amazing Beserk community via Facebook group & social media pages
• Assisting in creating graphics for social media, email & digital marketing assets
• Photographing & editing product images
• Filming & editing videos
• Support senior designers with project execution and revisions
• Organizing and managing design assets and files
  
  

We're looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable using Instagram, TikTok & Facebook (Meta Business Suite preferred)
• Has experience in a previous graphic design, marketing or social media role (preferred
• Has experience with the Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop) and video editing tools
• Has a Graphic Design qualification (required)
• Stays up to date with the latest social media & design trends and tools
• Has exceptional written communication and team-work skills
• Can efficiently manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment 
• Is positive, reliable and motivated
• A passion for alternative fashion, pop culture and all things Beserk is highly regarded
