Gorgeous Valentine's Day dress

I'm generally quite pleased with this dress and don't regret buying it at all, so I'll get the 'cons' out of the way first. Really there are only 2 things that disappointed me about this dress, which are the elastic along the neckline and the sizing in the waist area. And keep in mind, both of these issues are ones that I am thankfully able to rectify myself, so that's a good thing.
I found the elastic makes the neckline gather too tightly and also sit too high on the chest - that last point may come down to personal preference as I find it unflattering on myself and wish it would sit lower, but the tightness of it when worn both up regularly and off-the-shoulder is unfortunately very uncomfortable and won't allow for much free movement of the arms without risk of breaking the elastic.
The other part is that this dress seems to fit everywhere else quite comfortably and nicely, except for the waist area - contrary to my initial worries about the dress possibly being too small, I actually find it too loose-fitting here. Again, this may depend on how you are built, but as my waist is generally smaller than my hips and I usually enjoy Hell Bunny dresses in this style that are more fitted there before flaring out, it's not what I was expecting.
As I mentioned before, both of the above issues can be fixed fairly easily by replacing the neckline elastic with a longer piece and sewing the waist in a little which I plan to do, so I'm still glad I bought this dress and cannot wait to wear it with a cute red petticoat once done! The pattern is just lovely, the little red bow is adorable, I'd say the material is quite breathable and comfortable when on which makes it great for hotter weather, and as someone that's bigger in the bust area I was delighted to find that it fit just fine there which is always a plus. I definitely do recommend buying this dress if you don't mind a bit of simple mending :)
