The definition of Collectables is, broadly, "any item valued and sought by collectors". Makes sense, right? The monetary or commercial value of an item is considered arbitrary by the serious collector. It is the emotional connection to the broader category of pop culture in which the collector has that investment.
Some collectors purchase items from a particular decade, or a particular social movement, or antiques, coins, cars, shoes, hats, jewellery, stamps, or for whatever they are attached to personally. Some collectors keep their collections private just for themselves, while others buy items as a hobby or to display in exhibitions and collections at events or conventions. An original Star Wars Luke Skywalker figurine may sell for tens of thousands of dollars, or an original officially licensed Harry Potter necklace might be cheap and affordable - but cost and prices mean very little to collectors. It is the value the item holds for them that creates the emotional attachment. The purpose may be obvious or concealed - these actions may help reduce anxiety in the consumer, and make some sense of the real world, or for nostalgia of the past (which they often believe were the "golden days") which will never return. We accept returns up to 30 days after purchase You can return your item for an EXCHANGE, REFUND or STORE CREDIT ALL items can be returned EXCEPT underwear, swimwear, bodysuits, hosiery, contact lenses, earrings, cosmetics and opened hair dye, due to Australian health & hygiene regulations. Items must be returned in the original condition - swing tags attached, original packaging, unworn, unwashed. We suggest trying on shoes on carpet to avoid any scuff marks.
Please keep the item clean from animal fur, makeup stains & cigarette smoke. We reserve the right to reject any items that are returned in unsaleable condition. The customer is responsible for the return postage costs, unless there was an error with the order. In this case we will cover all costs to ensure you are not out of pocket. Exchange Postage costs - $7.95 Regular Post or $9.95 Express Post. All returns will be processed within 2 days of arriving back to the Beserk Warehouse [there may be some slight delays on processing returns during busy times] We offer a Store Credit only for returns on Clearance Items.
