NOTE: The shades appear different in the bottle than they do on the hair. Please do a strand test before doing an all over application.

Attention first time bleachers: if you have dark hair or previously dyed hair and are planning to bleach your hair prior to dye application, know that you must lift to a pale yellow to platinum colour that is evenly bleached. The colour of the hair prior to applying the dye will impact the shade results. All colours look best on platinum but darker tones with work on light and pale yellow tones of hair.

Finally, a PG-free dye and great shopping experience!

First of all, the shipping from Australia to Canada was super fast both times I ordered, like around a week! It came with Canada Post who drops it off for me in a locker so it's safe.

Lunar Tides has been the only semi-permanent hair dye I've found that doesn't have my allergen (propylene glycol). Beserk has great selection from this brand and affordable shipping- I don't see myself shopping anywhere else for this dye.

As for the colour, it took a few mixes to get exactly what I wanted. This dye works best on level 8 hair. Level 7 is a bit too muddy and green and level 9/10 makes it more blue than teal. I was able to dilute this with white condition and mix with Slate Grey (also from LT) to get the smokey-blue-teal shade I was after!
