Gremlins is a classic comedy horror film from 1984. When a young Billy gets a Mogwai from his dad as a Christmas present, he does everything in his power to keep his newfound friend, Gizmo, safe. With only 3 rules to looking after a Mogwai, we assume Billy thought it'd be easy!
"First of all, keep him out of the light, he hates bright light, especially sunlight, it'll kill him. Second, don't give him any water, not even to drink. But the most important rule, the rule you can never forget, no matter how much he cries, no matter how much he begs, never feeds him after midnight." - Mr Wings grandson.
Well, Billy was wrong. When his friend spills some water on Gizmo, he sprouts more Mogwai from his back, but these mischievous new Mogwai are led by Stripe, known and named after the white Mohawk on his head. Stripe convinces Billy to feed him after midnight by tricking him, putting the Mogwai into a cocoon-like state from which they emerge as reptilian murderous Gremlins. Billy and Gizmo must now use everything at their disposal to kill these Gremlins and save their town of Kingston Falls from the death and destruction caused by Stripe and his ever-growing army. But with his trusty little Gizmo by his side, Billy and friends have got this!
