FUNN-29 [Black] | PLATFORM SANDALS [PREORDER]

I've always wanted a pair of Demonia shoes and now finally have them. Being that shoes are always an awkward fit for me, I was very apprehensive about buying online, especially since finding information on the sizing is a pain (each site seems to give different information.) I ended up finding a youtuber who did a review on another of the Funn styles and used that as a guide. I'm usually between a 7 and an 8, 8 leaning, depending on whether the shoe is narrow or not, so I just went with the 8 as most people claimed the Demonia brand is rather wide. Length wise, it fits great and I think, had I gone up a size as is suggested, while it might have fitted better in the band, I would have had a lot of space lengthwise to lug around. Because I did go the 8 though, and because I have wide feet, I did need to pull the old "icebag in the freezer/hairdryer with socks on" trick to stretch the bands out a bit. Once that was done, they fit pretty much perfectly now. So if you're worried about size because of wide feet, go with what fits your foot lengthwise and then stretch the bands yourself. (Youtube will help here if needed.)
As to the rest of the shoe, chef's kiss. They look good on, and they're honestly a dream to walk in. I spent a good six hours shopping in them with no problems. The sole of the shoe is very lightweight and comfortable and the shoes themselves weigh next to nothing. Honestly, they're just a pair of thongs with the extra height. I highly recommend them, especially as a starter shoe for anyone looking at getting into platforms.
