NOTE: The shades appear different in the bottle than they do on the hair. Please do a strand test before doing an all over application.

Attention first time bleachers: if you have dark hair or previously dyed hair and are planning to bleach your hair prior to dye application, know that you must lift to a pale yellow to platinum colour that is evenly bleached. The colour of the hair prior to applying the dye will impact the shade results. All colours look best on platinum but darker tones with work on light and pale yellow tones of hair.

Love the colour

Super easy application, slight stain on skin but thats on me, and much like all colours like this it will stain everything you sleep on but that's not the colours fault

Dyed darker hair well

I mixed this dye with the dark violet dye from the same brand, and got a lovely colour. Really nice dye, Quite easy to use, and dyed my medium brown hair very well.

Brown Girlie's Blue

My mids and ends are recovering from a years worth of bleaching from darkest brown to blonde. I am working my way back to healthy natural hair and am using blue to do that. Best things about this product are: its holding in my bleached hair pretty well, I am only touching up every 4 weeks (mind you I also use a lot of other replenishing products), the blue is cool and since I have brown skin I was worried about the clash, but its deep enough that it actually works great with my black wardrobe, and lastly the tub makes for easy application. I did note that the first heat styling after use smelled a little burny - but extremely faintly and hasnt done after the first wash.

I put the blue over my shitty bleach job and it actually looks so good, not patchy and the colour itself is stunning not to light not to dark just my perfect blue.

So impressive

Vibrant and blends well

I mixed two colours, aiming for cool purple. Blue velvet blended beautifully with plum purple and created a vibrant range of cool toned purple shades. As I hoped for, I was able to create a range of shades similar to the nightshade colour. If you’re looking for a bit of variation in purple hair colour, I would recommend plum purple and blue velvet combined! My hair was bleached to a little darker than the light blonde swatch, but I still got a really vibrant (almost glowing) colour, as pictured in light blonde. My bluest sections of hair are a glowing, electric blue! Blends well with my medium brown natural hair too. I haven’t yet washed it so I can’t attest to whether it fades, but I’ve had no stains or colour transfer from the dyed hair when it’s dry.
