Nice pattern but costume quality

I bought these because I loved the pattern & it's hard to find interesting fashion tights in stores at the moment.
But for this price I was disappointed by the quality - none of the edges are finished or reinforced, just knitted edges. And the picture makes it look like it has a waistband, but it's just a thicker knit. Hopefully they look good on and I can get a bit of wear out of them without them breaking (unfortunately won't get a chance to wear or assess size just yet as I've just had a baby).
