Purrs of Point Cook Inc are a not for profit, volunteer run rescue organisation that save and re-home cats and kittens through a foster network in Victoria.

Purrs have been providing this service to the Western Suburbs since 2014.

How can you help?

Purrs of Point Cook are having a trivia night on Saturday 20th July 2019 and want to make it hugely successful!

Money raised at the event will be used for vet bills, food, litter and medications for our rescued cats and kittens. Tickets are $18, and reserving a table for 10 people is $150. It is held at the Laverton Bowls Club in Melbourne, Victoria.

If you a FELINE like a bit of a smarty paws, then you can BUY TICKETS HERE.

Funds will be raised on the night through raffles and silent auctions.

A few facts about Purrs of Point Cook:

-They are a registered Victorian animal welfare charity.

-They don’t have a shelter, all their cats and kittens are cared for in foster carers own homes.

-Most of the time carers provide food, litter and transport out of their own pocket.

-All of the great work they do to find homes for cats and kittens is undertaken by volunteers who give their time and love to care for these animals like they are their own.

-They receive no Government funding. To pay for veterinary costs and care for cats, they rely solely on donations from the community, and fundraising activities like adoption days, sausage sizzles and online auctions.
