A few facts about Purrs of Point Cook:
-They are a registered Victorian animal welfare charity.
-They don’t have a shelter, all their cats and kittens are cared for in foster carers own homes.
-Most of the time carers provide food, litter and transport out of their own pocket.
-All of the great work they do to find homes for cats and kittens is undertaken by volunteers who give their time and love to care for these animals like they are their own.
-They receive no Government funding. To pay for veterinary costs and care for cats, they rely solely on donations from the community, and fundraising activities like adoption days, sausage sizzles and online auctions.
