Bat Outta Hell is a dark, espresso brown hair dye with warm undertones. This shade is here to stand out and be taken seriously! For best results use on pre-lightened hair or add to your current natural light brown hair for added pigment and intensity!

All semi permanent hair dyes work best on pre-lightened hair. Always do a strand test to make sure this color will work well on your current base color!

How many 4oz containers of Manic Panic hair colour should I buy?

  • Short Hair up to Bob Length: 1 jar/bottle for thin or thick hair.
  • Below the Shoulder up to Waist Length: 2 jars/bottles for thin hair and 2-3 for thick hair.

Really awesome colour

Really awesome colour, I love manic panic as it is doesn’t reek of chemicals and is very chill to apply :)

I can hide in the shadows

This shade is almost black, with unexpected red tones. It's very pretty though and unlike most temporary dyes, actually worked on my virgin roots!
Now I can hide in the shadows, or under the bed, or perhaps in the closet...

Perfect shade of not so boring brown.

Honestly this colour is stunning. I’ve had my hair black since I was 18 but now as I’m getting older and a lot more greys, black just gets too hard to maintain. So this shade of brown is an incredible colour, warming all the right tones also blends my greys in beautifully.

great colour!

used this to dye over my natural colour, blue, green, AND yellow without a colour fill first. it did a great job and is only a little bit lighter in the yellow areas obviously. definitely a warm chocolate brown that is turning a little orange as it washes out which i don’t mind but if you do, fill your hair in first. i have cropped, shoulder length hair with some shaved and i used about half the jar to do my whole head.

Perfect colour for what I wanted, works really well, the only downside was the jar is really hard to get the seal off!

Really lovely! So happy I don’t have to dye my usually bright hair with permanent dye to get a natural shade for job interviews/giving my hair a break. I’ve tried this shade as well as cattail and if you’re between the two I would recommend this one as both fade from the initial application colour quite fast but this one maintains brown. I have a short mullet and I go through just over half the tub each app, so definitely get at least two if you have more hair.
