Baby's first platforms

I'm not at all used to wearing platforms, or any kind of heels, but I found these surprisingly easy to balance and walk in with only a tiny bit of practice to get used to them! I wouldn't want to walk around in them all day, as the insoles aren't super well padded, and after a few hours my toes and the balls of my feet began to hurt, but for shorter periods I find them very comfortable. I'm usually an AU size 8, bought a size 9, which fits just about right provided I'm not wearing very thick socks. The spikes are made of rubber so there's a low risk of injuring yourself or damaging anything with them, but it's very rigid rubber so they look convincingly solid and spiky. Anyway, they look so badass, and I'm already fairly tall so I love getting to tower over everyone around me :D I do wish they were made of real leather, though. They're about as good quality and durable feeling as vegan leather can be, but I can already spot where they're going to form creases and get worn out.
