As we celebrate International Women's Day, we acknowledge the incredible contributions that women have made and continue to make to our society! The history of International Women's Day can be traced back to 1909, when the first National Woman's Day was observed in the United States! Over the years, the day has grown into a global celebration of women's achievements and a call to action for gender equality.💜
Today, women continue to face numerous challenges around the world, including discrimination, violence, and lack of access to education and healthcare. International Women's Day provides an opportunity to raise awareness of these issues and to work towards a more equal and just society.
This International Women's Day, we encourage everyone to take action to support gender equality! Of course we want to help women and girls as much as we can, so that's why we will be donating to both Share the Dignity and UN Women Australia, charities that are committed to helping all women and girls through their struggles, discrimination and other daily issues they face! Even if you cannot donate, there are so many other things you can do to support women and girls this International Women's day! Like speaking out against sexism and discrimination to supporting women-led businesses and organisations. We can all make a difference by choosing to challenge gender biases and working towards a more equal world!
