Pozest Wicked offers unique paper and crafty items with tenebrous and gloomy charm for any and all occasions.

From a Brisbane-based studio, the artist creates unique handcrafted items, imbued with creative calm and using substrates consisting mostly of black and sooty shades of colour. 10 years ago this artist ventured away from 30 years of creating with acrylic on canvas and dove into the world of paper-crafting!

Paper was another perfect substrate for her skill set with mixed media, ink blending and design. Creating with her love of grungy and dark projects, now reborn on paper!
Friends started asking how she made ‘this and that’ which led her to develop workshops for sharing and teaching artistic techniques for paper-crafting.

Workshops soon became popular yet customer-driven projects requesting ‘prettier’ projects would mean stepping away from the darker side for a while. The ever evolving COVID-19 era in 2021 meant stricter social distancing causing reduced workshop numbers, then the mask mandate postponed sessions and eventually led to cancellation of many planned workshops. 

During this slow-down, this artist embraced the opportunity to delve back to her love of all things dark and grungy. Crafting in a relaxed creative space brings much joy when black is ever present. This new journey started with Grimoire Sets and 'DOOM-n-BLOOM' gift boxes adorned in darkness and sooty lilies.
