We feel a deep connection with cats, not just the symbolic representation of a black cat as superstitious or in pop culture, but that every cat is deserving of a loving and responsible home. The dangers of cats living homeless on the streets are real and enormous. As well as cruelty, unowned cats are at risk of disease, injury, subject to cold weather, hunger, thirst, and parasites. In Australia, cats are not part of the natural environment and are not accessories to be given up when it's "inconvenient". Let's give them our affection and our support!
