To our Incredible Beserk Community!

We are writing this post because we want to be completely transparent with everyone about a decision we have had to make as a small business. You might be aware that back in October 2023 Beserk announced the plan to stock Jeffree Star Cosmetics. It was then brought to our attention, by the community, of the very serious comments made by Jeffree Star and how they conflicted greatly with Beserk’s values! The decision was then made swiftly to cancel the planned release of JSC on our website as we in no way wanted to support the brand and we sincerely apologised for any hurt that was caused. Beserk is a company that is founded on celebrating diversity and fostering love and acceptance! We would like to thank our community once again for bringing their concerns to us and for their understanding.

At this time we reached out to Jeffree Star Cosmetics about our desire to no longer stock their product and how deeply upset we were about Jeffree Star’s actions. However, even after expressing our concerns they would not accept the stock to be returned and refunded. Which brings us to our current issue.

In the current economic decline everyone is doing it tough and Beserk is no exception. As a team of under 20 staff we are doing everything we can to survive a challenging situation as we know many other small businesses are. We know that not releasing the product on the website was definitely the right thing to do but that decision has left us with a huge financial loss that has been only made worse in this difficult economy. This has unfortunately put Beserk in a position where we need to come up with a solution and recoup our losses.

As a team we tried to brainstorm a way to turn this bad situation into a positive and come up with a solution to help us as a business but also do some good for our community!
And so Beserk have decided we will be releasing the JSC products at a heavily discounted price with 100% of all profits being donated toPride Foundation Australia, a national philanthropic foundation specifically focused on funding LGBTQIA+ community issues in Australia.

Each product is listed for just above cost price so we can recoup our costs and so we can donate all profits to a charity that provides support and funding to the LGBTQIA+ community. These products would be FINAL SALE, with absolutely no money going towards JSC or plans to ever restock. We want to be very transparent that the money from these sales ONLY goes to helping Beserk as a small business recoup our losses and better yet to support Pride Foundation Australia.
