Zombies have been a horrifically dominant monster throughout history (rivalled only by Vampires). Zombies have been making appearances in books and films for hundreds of years, and there seems to be no slowing down or shortage of fresh new zombie movies and TV shows. When you think of a zombie, you are probably imagining a dead human that has come back to life with intentions of eating your flesh. You'll be thinking of rooting skin hanging off exposed bones like bizarre flaps of sleeves, broken and missing teeth, eyeballs hanging out their heads, a shambling, shuffling style of movement, low guttural groaning, a general lifeless and evil creature that you'd want to avoid at all costs. Because we all know what happens when you are bitten or scratch by a zombie - you instantly become infected, and depending on your body's own fortitude or how bad your wound is, you will invariably share the same fate as the zombie that attacked you.

They are undead beings. They possess no heartbeat, no functional brain, and no desire other than to consume living human brains. A zombie is an undead being - in that it was alive, then dead, then alive again, thus becoming undead. They become reanimated - and extremely dangerous! George Romero started the zombie movie phenomenon with Night of the Living Dead way back in 1963. A plethora of gruesome horror movies followed, including 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Day of the Dead, World War Z, Resident Evil, Planet Terror, Evil Dead, Zombieland, The Return of the Living Dead, Dead Alive, Cannibal Holocaust, and so many more we could never list them all here, including parody spoofs such as Shaun of the Dead.

At Beserk, we stock a big collection of clothing and accessories that are zombie-related. From mugs, oven mitts and aprons to jewellery, special effects make up, and clothes featuring zombie graphics! Don't miss out today, no matter what you're looking for, we will have something for you!
