Jason Freeny is a maker of groovy things. Jason Freeny was born in Maryland, United States. His inspirations are from pop, modern and surrealist art.

Jason's early success as an artist came with his creations of a series of fictional anatomical character schematics and illustrations in 2007 but was most noted when he began creating anatomical toy sculptures shortly after. His sculptural and illustration work has been the basis for several mass produced toys. Jason was the Designer, Art Director and Typographer for the poster series entitled Anatomy, which was awarded the Grand Prix (Outdoor) and Gold Medal (Print Work) at the 2009 Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival and was named "Break Through Artist" of 2011 by Clutter Magazine. He has been included in numerous group art shows and had his first solo exhibition in 2013 with Los Angeles based 101 exhibit art gallery.

Jason Freeny (born 1970) is an American artist specializing in sculpture, designer toys and computer-generated imagery. He is the owner of the Moist Production studio, which acts as the primary publisher and distributor of his works. He is best known for his anatomical art, where he produces cutaway drawings and sculptures of (typically toy) inanimate objects such as a Lego man, Barbie doll, the animated fish Nemo or a balloon art dog. Born in Silver Spring Maryland, Jason studied industrial design at Pratt Institute and spent most of his early career in production, retail and properties design with MTV Networks and ESPN before going solo in 2010. Since 2006, Jason has been meticulously exploring the innards of some of our favorite characters for our enjoyment. In 2015 Jason teamed up with Singapore based toy company MightyJaxx to produce limited edition sculpture reproductions and manufactured toys based on his creations. The collaboration has allowed Jason Freeny to continue his focus on design and creation of all things groovy.
