Well, Halloween falls on October 31 because the ancient Gaelic festival of Samhain-which is considered the earliest known root of Halloween, occurred on this day. Many people associate Halloween with Trick or treating, which is a 'game' where children of all ages dress up in costumesand travel from house to house to receive treats in response to their call of “trick or treat!". The reason they say 'Trick or treat' is basically a way of them saying that if the house owners choose to NOT give them a treat, then they will perform a trick on them, such as egging their house or scaring them in a way. But with that being said, usually, the children will ask for treats, and if the house owner does not, the child will go on with their night peacefully.
