Beetlejuicewas released in 1988 and stars Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, Jeffrey Jones, and Winona Ryder. The plot revolves around Barbara and Adam Maitland, who die in a car accident only to find themselves stuck in the afterlife haunting their own residence and unable to leave the house. When the insufferable Deetz family move into the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare the new family away without success. In comes Betelgeuse, a "bio-exorcist" to save the day!
